Ask a Question as a Statement

One of the most awkward challenges in business is asking customers to make a decision. Often employees either avoid asking the question at all. Or they try a phony sounding “closing technique”. For better results, simply ask the customer a question such as, “What do you think?” BUT ask the question as a statement. In other words, there should be no question mark in your voice. Your voice tone gives the customer a feeling of confidence and agreement. It becomes a question with a forgone conclusion.
