Ask Permission To Present The Secret to Selling More

Transform Sales Conversations with One Simple Question

Here’s an easy way to persuade others without sounding pushy. Before you tell people about what you’re trying to sell, first ask them if they want to hear about it. For example, a waiter describing the “house special” is likely to have a much more receptive audience when he begins by asking, “Would you like to hear about the special?” When the patron agrees to listen, their mindset shifts from someone who’s being sold something, to a person who’s now shopping.

Today’s chuckle:

Experience is something you don’t get until just after you need it.
