Avoiding Wardrobe Malfunctions – The Impact of Dress Code
Building Trust in Customer Replationships
The most important element in a supplier/customer relationship is trust. To help create that trust as quickly as possible, dress to suit customers’ expectations. Imagine the distrust created if a plumber arrived at the customer’s house dressed in an Armani suit. Similarly, a server sporting tattoos and body piercing would likely put-off patrons in an upscale restaurant. By dressing to suit customer expectations you make it easier for them to be less distracted by what you’re wearing, and more focused on the great service you’re providing. That’s a win for everyone.
