Customer Service Training TIps

Challenge the Conventional Wisdom

One of the most compelling ways to sell products, services, or ideas is to challenge the conventional ‘wisdom.’ When explaining a new concept to someone, point out what most people tend to believe about something – in other words, the conventional wisdom. Then show them how in reality your product, service or idea completely invalidates that common belief. The moment you have the other person thinking, “I never looked at it that way,” you’ve created immediate value and dramatically enhanced your credibility.
