Complain to the Top
When you’re a customer receiving poor service, don’t settle for “talking to the manager.” You’re likely to get better results by going straight to the top. Write a letter directly to the president of the company thoroughly explaining the circumstances. Indicate on the letter that you are copying the local manager. Then to speed the process, fax the letter to both parties. This approach makes the local manager more accountable to quickly solve your problem and to prevent it from reoccurring.
