Customer Service Training TIps

Could you Give me Some Advice?

Asking Customer’s for their Advice

Imagine receiving this call from your financial planner. “I’m just following-up to make sure that, after sleeping on it, you’re still happy with the way we set up your new portfolio.” After you rave about how wonderful it is, they continue, “I wonder if you could give me some advice. I’d like to offer this to other people who want sound financial planning. Is there anyone you know of…” The key to this technique is, “Could you give me some advice?” It stimulates the human need to help and it’s flattering. It’s a minor phrase that creates major referrals.

Today’s chuckle:

Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, only backwards and in high heels.
